Wind energy is an important form of Renewable energy. Renewable sources are one of alternatives of conventional sources. The systems in wind energy require some analytics tools for further improvement. There are many devices that helps to inject voltage or current in system and helps to improve power quality. There are many issues related to sag, swell, harmonics in the system. Wind energy is an important aspect to generate amount of energy and for safe operation of power grid. This work presents a wind energy system for generating desired voltage. It uses ANN controller for controlling the output. Various performance parameters of wind turbine have been studied. The study also suggests that ANN controller which is far better in terms of performance as compared to traditional PI controller
