Variations of the sigmoid colon are not uncommon owing to the fact that the hindgut or midgut predisposes to a lot of rotational anomalies in single or in whole. This article highlights the anomalous series of right sided sigmoid colons observed with varying degrees in part orin whole while doing routine cadaveric dissections. This case series also helps the readers to appreciate the embryology of gut development better and it also helps the surgeon in increasing his acumen for pain detection related to viscera
