Abstract

This study aims to know the importance of Spanish Orientalism and its impact on the study of the Arab-Islamic heritage, especially since the Muslim Arabs ruled Spain for nearly eight centuries, and most of the people of the Iberian Peninsula converted to Islam, which contributed to the establishment of a state whose religion is Islam and whose language is Arabic in Spain, with the presence of a minority that retained its religion Christianity is the thing that misleads a resistance that arose to preserve Christianity
