Abstract

The ability of a machine to mimic intelligent human behavior is a key component of artificial intelligence. Artificial intelligence using a variety of algorithms, made possible by the exponential increase in computing power, is assisting medical professionals in providing better diagnosis and treatment. Humans use AI for supervised and unsupervised learning to help them reach their goals, which they first map out in their minds. Artificial neural networks, k-nearest neighbors, support vector machines, decision trees, classifiers based on regression analysis, Bayesian networks, random forests, and discriminant analyses are just few of the methods utilized in AI. Artificial intelligence (AI) has many applications in the medical field, including faster interpretation and diagnosis in the fields of cardiology, psychiatry, gastroenterology, surgery, ophthalmology, etc., and in the diagnosis and staging of breast cancer in a whole-slide images histopathology study of patients with lung adenocarcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma. AI can be a helpful adjunct for clinicians in designing treatments, but it will never replace therapy by humanistic ways because of its lack of a holistic approach to management
