Background: Pulmonary hypertension is defined as a mean artery pressure >25 mm Hg and is a serious and progressive complication of chronic kidney disease and end-stage renal disease. Identifying pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) can be challenging but is important in this population since management strategizes differ from those for patients with ESKD who donot have PH.
