Background: Fluorosis, caused by ingestion of an excessive amount of fluoride through food or water, is a major public health problem in India. Aims: To analyse the socio-demographic determinants of dental fluorosis prevalence among 12 to 16-Year teenagers in Kanpur District, Uttar Pradesh India.Methods and Material:A cross-sectional study was conducted among teenagers, residing in the city since childhood, in the age group of 12-16 years were selected from government schools. Teenagers were categorized into five age groups and were examined for dental fluorosis. Dean’s criteria for assessment of dental fluorosis were used. The chi-square test and Spearman correlation were carried out.
