Abstract

There has been much interesting in the development a new ether Schiff-base ligand and its Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II), Mn(II) and Ag(I), complexes as antitumor agents . Ligand and its complexes have been characterized by elemental analysis, IR, UV-Vis spectra , 1H-NMR spectra, Mass spectra, Magnetic moments, Conductances, Thermal analyses (DTA and TGA) and ESR measurements The spectral data showed that, the ligand behaved a neutral hexadentate type. Molar conductance’s in DMF solution indicated non-electrolytic nature of the prepared complexes.
