There are many challenges involved in integrating distributed generation (DG) systems using renewable energy sources (RES) into the electrical grid, including problems with synchronisation, control, power management (PM), and power quality. Under grid failures and harmonic distortions, the amplitudes of active and reactive power oscillations are also reduced and controlled by a single flexible control parameter.
