The condition of hallux valgus is considered as deformities affecting females more than males, characteristically manifested as lateral deviation of the big toe and widening of first and second inter -metatarsal angle with a deformity of second toe in some severe cases. Whereas the hallux valgus deformity is progressive and involves several stages causing progressive degeneration of the joint, moderate to sever pain and ends with progressive sublaxation of first metatarophalangeal joint which interfering with activity and quality of life for patients, challenging surgeons regarding optimal management. Wedge osteotomy procedure that has been the gold standard for advanced hallux vallgus other newer procedures such as dome osteotomy has demonstrated promising early patient outcomes
