The capacity to quickly create customised biopolymer-based composite components has made fused deposition modelling (FDM) a subject of great interest. In this study, poly lactic acid (PLA) and composites made from almond shell biochar were combined to create biocomposite filaments, which were then 3D printed using FDM. To enhance the performance of PLA, different weight percentages of sub-micrometric almond shell biochar particles (0%, 1%, 3%, 5%, and 10%) were added to the filament preparation process.
