The human immune deficiency virus (HIV) is the causative agent of acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS). According to Global HIV statistics, about 33.9 million- 43.8 million people were living with HIV in 2021. The development of effective antiretroviral drugs and the scientific accomplishments in HIV research over the past twenty-six years have been challenging. The pathogenesis of HIV disease is the basis of a decrease in the number of CD4-T cells. These ‘helper T cells are responsible for several roles for other immune residents, and their loss leads to profound immunosuppression
