This review article explores the critical role of collaborative efforts among nurses, pharmacists, and emergency medicine practitioners in enhancing patient outcomes and infection control in emergency departments. The emergency department is a high-stress environment where timely and effective patient care is essential. By working together, these healthcare professionals can improve patient outcomes, reduce medication errors, and prevent healthcare-associated infections. This review highlights the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration in emergency care settings and the impact it has on patient safety and quality of care. Various strategies and interventions that promote teamwork and communication among nurses, pharmacists, and emergency medicine practitioners are discussed, along with their implications for infection control practices.
