A total of four journals associated with the research subject have been selected from Google Scholar and assessed. Results: The results of the data analysis procedure have disclosed relevant insights regarding common oral health issues and prevention practices. It has been identified that diabetes has a common impact on oral health and can cause various types of gum diseases. Conclusion: In order to prevent oral health issues associated with diabetes, diabetic patients should focus on regular diagnosis of their oral health.
