Abstract

Introduction: The age of the child's first visit to the dentist is an important time for the prevention of oral disease and its treatment. Children who visit the dentist at the age of more than 4 years have a caries status that is two times higher than that of children who visit the dentist as early as possible. Most mothers take their children to the dentist when they have complaints and not for routine visits. Objective: To determine the relationship between the mother's education level and the mother's level of knowledge about oral and dental health with the age of the child's first visit to the dentist
