Abstract

Background: Whole-body 131I scintigraphy and thyroglobulin have always been the mainstay of monitoring patients suffering from differentiated thyroid carcinoma (DTC) after ablation and thyroidectomy. Objective: This study investigates any significant parameters and clinical outcomes of the diffuse thyroid bed and hepatic uptake of 131I on post-ablative whole-body iodine scans (PAWBIS) in DTC patients
