Abstract

Objective: The purpose of this study was to clinically evaluate the effect of restoration type (endocrown versus post-retained crown) made of zirconia reinforced lithium silicate (Celtra Press) on recurrent caries, retention and patient satisfaction. Methodology: A total of 34 patients requiring restoration of endodontically treated lower first molars. Patients were randomly assigned into two groups (n=17) according to the type of restoration used. The Control Group (PCr): received reinforced lithium silicate ceramic crowns retained with glass fiber posts.
