With an emphasis on medical and environmental issues, this article provides an overview of the current state of knowledge on the characteristics, compounding techniques, and uses of biopolymers paired with biosensors. Consequently, this article is focused on polymer materials that are ecologically beneficial. The paper provides a summary of the current state of knowledge about the characteristics, compounding techniques, and uses of biopolymers mixed with biosensors, with an emphasis on medical and environmental issues.
