Abstract

The present study was designed as a case control study that included two groups. First group, 40 Egyptian infants less than 2 years referred to the allergy clinic with history of their first or second attack of wheezing with mean age 14.925 ± 5.942 months with male to female ratio of 1.35, and second group, their matched control group (n=40). After comprehensive clinical assessment, blood samples were taken from the patients in order to assess serum activin-A, IgE and CBC measurements
