Abstract

This article presents an approach based on structured programming for the analysis and calculation of the density of the Heavy Anfo explosive in surface mining. The purpose of this work is to develop an interface that allows calculating the density of the heavy anfo explosive. From this analysis and calculation, important data is obtained to determine the costs and quality of the explosive. This enables a more efficient design of drilling and blasting operations in less time, while reducing the risk of human error, which can arise due to the repetitive use of formulas to calculate the density of the explosive involved in the design of the Drilling and blasting in surface mining.
