Hypothyroidism has a worldwide incidence of 750 million people, it also triggers several subsequent pathologies such as diabetes mellitus, arterial hypertension and dyslipidemia; its physiopathology lies in suppressing the formation or synthesis of "thyroid hormones", its main manifestations are weight gain, constipation, and the signs are ataxia, yellowish skin, rough hair; as there is documentation indicating that hormone therapy based on Levothyroxine does not offer benefits to individuals suffering from this condition, new therapeutic approaches are being sought, which will be described in this article
