Abstract

This abstract highlights the advancements and challenges associated with the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in prosthodontics, covering various aspects from diagnosis to treatment planning, as well as future directions. The utilization of AI technologies, such as AIbased imaging analysis and automated assessment, has significantly improved diagnostic accuracy and treatment planning in prosthodontics. Moreover, predictive modeling using AI algorithms enables prosthodontists to assess prosthodontic outcomes and make informed decisions. The integration of clinical guidelines and evidence-based practices within AI systems enhances treatment planning and ensures optimal patient care. Real-time feedback and suggestions during treatment procedures further enhance treatment precision and outcomes. However, challenges including ethical considerations, integration with electronic health records, and advancements in AI technologies need to be addressed for successful implementation and future progress in prosthodontics.
