Introduction: The control of supragingival plaque is thus a crucial factor in maintaining the health of periodontal tissue. Various chemical agents have been advocated as a measure for plaque control However, an increase in the research of herbal medicine has facilitated the growth of alternative and more biocompatible strategies.
