Abstract
This article has studied the possibility of production a rotor yarn of fibrous waste with a high content of short fibers. The effect of the fiber length and the diameter of the spinning rotor to capture factor of fibers, linear density and twist the stick-layer rotor yarn was researched. Experiments were carried out on the rotor spinning machine SCHLAFHORST AS-360. The results of the tests proved the possibility of obtaining high-quality rotor yarn of short fibers.
