Chemotherapeutic drugs have several major drawbacks. Therefore, motivation for developing novel drug complexes as anti-breast cancer agents with different mechanism of action has arisen. This study aimed to evaluate the influence of newly synthesized ligand namely N-(2-((2-hydroxybenzylidene)amino) phenyl)4(octyloxy) benzamide and its complexes with selected metals such as Cu(II), Zn(II), Ni(II), Co(II), Ca(II), Pb(II), Ba(II), Sr(II), Fe(III) and Cr(III) which were synthesized and showed a good yield.
