Women with a singleton gestation at high risk for late preterm delivery were included. A total of 200 subjects were enrolled. All the subjects were broadly divided into two study groups: Betamethasone group and control group. Outcome of administration of corticosteroids was recorded. The results were analysed using SPSS software. Results: There were no significant differences between groups in the incidence of chorioamnionitis or endometritis. The rates of caesarean delivery, and length of stay were also similar between groups.
