The metaverse great potential for business, economy, and society are available as a result. A number of crucial issues remain unaddressed, and the study of their impact is nearly non-existent. They make a number of contributions in this work. Finally, we expand the scope of our contribution by emphasising some of the metaverse's far-reaching yet logical consequences in a variety of fields, not only in technology. They start by reviewing its underpinnings, then focus just on new privacy and security challenges posed by this new paradigm. They also explore possible study avenues throughout the report.
