Abstract

Waste that is both biodegradable and inert is frequently discharged, and open burning is frequent. There will be more jobs, better public health, and more tourists in India if garbage collection and transportation facilities are improved. The entire waste management process is a complicated one that involves numerous systems and sub-systems. The novelty of the research is to determine the best routes for trucks utilizing different scheduling and routing techniques. Proposed hybrid models to find the short optimal route, those are Enhanced Genetic Algorithm (EGA), Enhanced Genetic Algorithm with Adaptive variable neighborhood search method (EGAAV) and Enhanced Genetic Algorithm with Clarke & Wright's saving method (EGACW). From the proposed hybrid algorithms EGAAV outperforms well than the other two proposed algorithms. EGAAV scores a less computing time and suggests optimal routes.
