Bonding brackets and other orthodontic attachments is one of the most critical stages of treatment. Bonding’s ease of use can be deceiving. The technique can, without a doubt ,be abused, not only by inexperienced clinicians but also by more experienced orthodontist who do not perform procedures with care. Bond failure is one of the frustrating occurence in orthodontic practise. Knowing the location of bond failure allows the orthodontist to modify his technique to bond brackets and attachments.
