This critical study explores the potential benefits of implementing digital financial applications in enhancing the accounting performance in organizations. The study utilizes a comprehensive literature review to examine the types of digital financial applications, their benefits, the definition and measurement of accounting performance, and the factors influencing it. The study also investigates the relationship between digital financial applications and accounting performance, using a mixed-methods research design that involves primary data collection through surveys and interviews. The results show that there is a significant positive relationship between the use of digital financial applications and accounting performance, with improved accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness of financial reporting being the main benefits. The study provides theoretical and practical implications for organizations, along with suggestions for future research
