SELF-ASSEMBLY OF COPPER(II) MACROTRICYCLIC CHELATE COMPLEX WITH 2,8-DITHIO-3,5,7-TRIAZANONANDITHIOAMIDE-1,9 INTO BIOPOLYMER-POLYPEPTIDE MEDIUM

Abstract


Self-assembly process in the Cu2[Fe(CN)6] biopolymer-polypeptide matrix proceeding under a contact of this matrix with aqueous-alkaline solutions containing dithiooxamide, formaldehyde and ammonia, at room temperature has been observed and studied. It has been shown that copper(II) chelate coordination compound with 2,8-dithio-3,5,7-triazanonandithioamide-1,9 is formed in these specific conditions. It has been noted that such a complex is obtained only at complexing in given conditions and is formed neither at complexing in solution nor solid phase. Also, molecular structure of the given complex has been calculated with using DFT B3LYP method.
