PYRIDAZINE AND ITS RELATED COMPOUNDS, PART 39. SYNTHESIS AND ANTIMICROBIAL EVALUATION OF SOME THIENOPYRIDAZINE BASED HETERCYCLE

Abstract


The starting material, 5-amino-3,4-diphenylthieno[2,3-c]pyridazine-6-carbonitrile  was subjected to subsequent reactions with aromatic and heteroaromatic aldehydes, benzylchloride, cyclo- hexanone, phenyl isothiocyanate, hydroxylamine hydrochloride, and with hydrazine hydrate  to afford new polycyclic compounds. The new synthesized compounds were confirmed by their infrared, mass spectrum, 1H-NMR, and elemental analyses, and further screened for antimicrobial activity.
